DBT Skills Group

We offer a Multifamily/Teen DBTSkills Group and an Adult DBT Skills Group

Teen DBT Skills Group is group therapy designed to help you learn the DBT skills that will assist you in regulating emotions, learning ways to tolerate their stress level, mindfulness and improve their relationships. In this group, you will learn strategies to communicate with loved ones, find the middle path, and will learn skills to help  you better regulate your own emotions in conflict. Teen DBT Skills Group is ran on Saturdays from 11:00-12:15 PM. We offer a virtual option and a live option. 

Adult DBT Skills Group is for ages 18 and up. We offer this DBT Skills group both virtual and live. Adult DBT Skills group is ran on Thursdays at 9:15am-10:15am

There are Four Modules in DBT that take about 6 months to complete from start to finish.  In each module you will learn:

Emotional Regulation Skills (6 week module):

Cost: $450 

Understanding emotion

Learning ways to increase more of the emotions you desire

Learning how to make yourself less vulnerable to unwanted emotions

Problem Solving

Distress Tolerance Skills (6 week module):

Cost: $450

Crisis survival skills

How to reduce suicidal and self harming urges quickly

Radical acceptance skills

Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills (8 week module):

Cost: $600

Families of teens welcome in this module

How to ask for what you want/need without feeling guilty

Maintaining your self respect

Maintaining healthy relationships 

Setting limits

Learning how to find a synthesis while in a conflict

Finding a Middle Path

Mindfulness Skills (6 week module):

Cost: $450

Taking control of your mind

Increasing awareness in the present moment

Tolerating difficult emotions and thoughts without judgement
